Ryan Navion 205

The Ryan Navion 205 is a classic aircraft initially developed for X-Plane 11, now brought to X-Plane 12 with updated textures by vFlyteAir. This add-on retains the originals charm while addressing compatibility issues. Future updates will focus on enhancing liveries, with no significant issues reported for the aircraft itself.

Description

Hello, this is a Ryan Navion 205 coded by vFlyteAir; however, it is quite old and was originally compatible only with X-Plane 11. I’ve made it compatible with X-Plane 12 and refreshed some of the textures. Future updates are planned, but they will focus primarily on liveries, as there aren't any issues with the aircraft itself.

 

Why this aircraft? As you know, I search for and find aircraft that have been forgotten or abandoned online—especially those for X-Plane 11 and earlier versions—and then update and re-release them for free; that’s why I chose this one. Plus, it’s a classic and a joy to fly. I have other projects in mind, too, but I need to finish the ones I’m currently working on first (maybe I’ll rework the textures for a 707 :D).

 

NOTE: THERE IS NO COLLABORATION INVOLVED (I wasn't even able to get in touch with the person who coded the aircraft :/ )

Ladies and Gentlemen: I wanted to make things a bit more official, so I will now be releasing new updates and aircraft under the name "Honey Restore Team"—it will be more professional. Works well. Very smooth and enjoyable flight model. Missing the turn coordinator ball. I don’t think the altitude hold option is even there. It seems to lock pitch, but it drifts vertically. CG load stations for pilots, passengers and cargo are not there. It’s an easy fix with the Plane Maker. The glove/map compartment antique record player plays music, but now it’s invisible. I used to fly it in XP11. Glad to see it in XP12. Thank you.
